Gail Lara is the Executive Director of the Women’s Collaborative Mentoring Program (WCMP) at The Valley Economic Alliance (TVEA). Gail offers over sixteen years of experience in small business development, training, and as a business owner. Currently, her focus is to build a premier result driven training program for underserved women entrepreneurs.
Gail Collaborates with Small Business Development agencies and many Independent Women’s Business Programs to provide greater opportunities, and build a powerful collaborative business community. She served over 3,900 business owners by opening the stage for over 380 local experts to offer their acumen.
Mission: To position underserved women entrepreneurs to thrive by providing customized mentoring to achieve sustainable business growth. Gail’s philanthropic side has always been one of service. She currently serves on the advisory board for the Community Foundation of the Valleys and Special Needs Network SNN a program dedicated to helping children with Autism.
She has also served as event chair for a domestic violence awareness program and is a member of “Sweet Charities” a group of executive woman that collaborate and plan events to support local charities.
